Coalition co-signs open letter on EPBD revision
Brussels, 28 October 2021
Ahead of the publication of the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD), the Coalition for Energy Savings co-signed an open letter with 12 organisations to call the Commission to promote energy-efficient, renewable-based and flexible buildings.
Applying the Energy Efficiency First principle in the building sector is key to ensure the delivery of the multiple benefits of energy efficiency: lowering green gas emissions, energy bills and improving well-being in our buildings. This timely and relevant letter intends to ensure an ambitious revision of the EPBD to achieve our climate and energy targets for 2030 and beyond.
