Belgium: Energy Saving Pioneers is a coalition initiated by Bond Beter Leefmilieu and gathers frontrunners in energy saving. The members – businesses, local governments, organisations and the environmental union – inform policy makers about the economic, social and ecological gains of energy saving and push for more ambitious policy.
Czech Republic: Chance for Buildings is an alliance of leading trade associations that supports energy efficient construction. It brings together the Czech Green Building Council, Passive House Center, Czech Mineral Insulation Manufacturer’s Association, Czech EPS Association and Czech Heat Pump Association. It represents over 280 companies across the entire value chain of the building construction and renovation. The Chance for Buildings aspires to reap crucial societal benefits of energy efficient buildings. We promote favorable policy and economic frameworks, including proper implementation of relevant EU directives in the Czech Republic.
Germany: DENEFF unites frontrunner companies in the field of energy efficiency to collectively represent their political interests for an effective and ambitious energy efficiency regulation in Germany. Since January 2011, DENEFF is ramping up its political activities with focus on energy efficiency in the buildings sector as well as industrial processes.
Greece:The Institute of Zero Energy Buildings (INZEB) is a Social Enterprise and was founded in January 2014. The Institute serves as an aggregator, operator, documenter and disseminator of knowledge and expertise on issues related to energy saving in the building sector. INZEB serves as a platform for two-way communication and close dissemination of knowledge, contributing to research, adaptation, adoption and widespread construction standards with the aim of reducing the energy consumption and emissions of “greenhouse gas” pollutants. The Institute has established relations both with National and European bodies, organizations and associations in order properly promote and implement EU directives related to Energy Efficiency.
